Referees:
I now have the training sessions set up at Melbourne High School
in the Chorus Room at the East side of the complex next to the Band Room.
The classes will be from 6pm to 9pm on:
Monday Oct 6, Tuesday Oct. 7, Monday Oct 13, Tuesday Oct 14 and Thursday Oct 16.
These are 5 mandatory training classes required by the FHSAA.
I was required to turn in a class plan along with the dates and the locations.
Make every effort to attend these classes as I must report the attendance to the state.
I will hand out your rule books, guide books, badges, NFHS tests and FHSAA cards.
Please bring a check or cash for your MCOA dues - $40.00
The classes are held in Melbourne due to the fact
we have officials from Vero Beach all the way to Titusville.
The Soccer Field Clinic will be at Melbourne High School
on Friday night Oct 17 starting at 6pm and on Saturday starting at 8am.
If you still need to sign up for the clinic, please do so asap.
You must bring your uniforms and gear on Saturday morning of the clinic.
I’ve also asked Justin Lauer to bring all of his referee gear he sells to the clinic.
Effective tomorrow (Friday), I will no longer have a work phone #
or work email address as I will be retiring tomorrow afternoon.

Soccer Referee's Mandatory Requirements

CHECK-IN WITH YOUR REFEREE CREW
(No less than 24 hours prior to game time.)

If you have NOT made contact with the other JV official, OR
If the head referee has
NOT had contact with either linesmen,

You MUST call me immediately and I will REPLACE that official.
The replaced official will NOT do the game, even if they show up.
The replacement official will do the game and receive the pay.

Please remember the IMPORTANCE
of contacting each other on your crew.
Possible $25 fine to you !!!

BE AT GAMES ON TIME! No less than 20 minutes prior to game time.

FIRST OFFICIAL LISTED IS HEAD OFFICIAL (in 2 or 3 man system)
Head official MUST report officials at each game to ME!
(one-pay) (use email)

UNIFORMS must be the same & LOOK PROFESSIONAL!

NO JEWELRY ALLOWED! (for players or officials!)

2008-2009 Game Fees are $36 for JV / $46 for Varsity, plus $10 travel

YOU MUST Send Report to ME for any RED or BLUECARDS ASAP



IMPORTANT!!!
Do NOT make any changes or switch games
without first going thru me. This is a $50 fine offense.
Also, the head official on each game must send me email
confirmation after the game on which officials worked the game.
This is because of the "onepay" system.
